Thread: Not sure of I.D.

    Default Not sure of I.D.

    I got this image in Palm Beach County and not sure of its I.D....I looked through Sibley's and can not find it.
    Anyone have a clue?

    Axel, we are not told when the image was taken but if we assume it was recently then I don't think you can age brown thrashers by plumage in November. The iris of juveniles would be duller (grey to greyish olive) than the bird in the image but I'm not sure if they are still that way this time of year (not an everyday bird up here).
