    Arsdel:

The colors here are lovely, with the flowers matching the birds sheen. Nice look back pose,

I would be tempted to crop in a bit from the right to decenter the bird, to very slightly tone down the flowers under his tail, and give a bit more selective sharpening to the head, as the back appears sharper to me.

    Thanks for sharing!

Nice job Randy, not a bird you often seen an artistic shot of. Great HA and comp.

I'm picking up a slight magenta tone to the head and feathers. Perhaps a slight caste to the bird? Also, could be that I'm not used to seeing their iridescence in good light.

I am just bold over by this wonderful image, the compo could have been better by placing the bird to the right, but thats my idea.

Hi Arsdel: Beautiful image of a cowbird. It is difficult to bring out rich browns and black on these birds correctly and you've done a nice job. Flowers are beautiful, by the way.

Nice looking bird with nice feather detail. I do like the idea of a tad more sharpening on head. Nice job on bg. Interesting colours on the bird. It is not an appearance I am familiar with on these birds. Dave

Good light and colours in this. I feel the flowers are far sharper than the bird, thus assuming the focus point was somewhere below the bird. Randy's suggestion to sharpen the head will work and what a killer BG.
