    this one taken in 07 at Loxahtchee. so glad i had the opportunity to see this. their nest hasnt been visible since.

    D50, 50-500 at 500mm, f/6.3, 1/125s, ISO 400, 0EV, flash with better beamer set at -1.3EV.

    comments and critiques are welcome and much appreciated. as you can see, this is my avatar. probably my favorite image to date. i did rework it last nite and this is one of the versions i came up with. thanks!

    Harold, This image just screams Dr. Davis!!:eek: I love it and wouldn't change a thing!!:)The spanish moss is terrific.

    jackie, i got my first camera in november of 2006. this was march of 2007, so it's an oldie for me!!!!

    thanks for the comments guys.....now if we could just get some of the youngins to play along and make some comments!!!!
