This was taken yesterday at Green Cay. It has been very quiet in our area these past few weeks but the grebes have been quite entertaining.

Judy, Adorable pose and I love the open bill. Very nice details and coloring.

Very nice shot. I like the pose very much with the beak open and the wings extended. Nice light, exposure and eye contact too.

Wonderful action captured. I might like to see a lower angle , but I know all too well that its not always possible. Fine detail and exposure make this a sweet image.

    Judy:
The pose really makes this one! Agree about the angle, if possible. The reflection is weak, so you wouldn't have lost anything there by going lower. But, as we all know, not always possible.

    Charming.

Great looking bird and I like the angle and pose although just a bit more Dof would have been nice.

    Nice capture of the action.
I have watched these birds do this action but never caught them at peak such as this.
Nice catch out in open with no distractions.

A very different pose for these birds. You must have been nice and close. Well done. Dave

Cute little grebe, Judy. Open beak and wing position really set it off. I would like a bit lower angle, but it might not have been possible.

You nailed the timing here Judy, well done to get the open beak, and to see the tongue too. I like the slightly raised wings, and overall nice and sharp.
