    Taken Feb. 7, 2008. These little guys are a challenge - they move like the engergizer bunny. The other challenge is their black bills and legs against the almost black seaweed.

    Lovely little bird Terry but the whites have lost detail on my monitor.

    Thanks, John. I agree with you. After going back and looking at the RAW file, the white detail is not there. I will post another image of the sanderling that shows better feather detail.

    I agree on the overexposed whites. They have a slight blue cast, too. Maybe you could raise the color temperature a bit.

    Thanks for the efforts here. Whites are hot, but you know that. And yes they are extremely fast. I did not do much better myself recently while in Floridas Fort DeSoto. Keep posting and sharing. Thats how we learn.
