    Default Theme: Christmas Card

Took the classical approach and just made a simple card, upon reflection I should have added an exclamation mark at the end or "Wishing You....", but I can still do that. Seems a little harsh in the wording. Took this gothic style window on the weekend, put it through Lucis Art, and NIK Brilliance and warmth. Wanted it to look both silver and gold. Well anyways.. my effort!

Jackie, I think you did a fantastic job here with the image and adjustments. I would not add an exclamation point -to me it's perfect as is. It almost looks like hand carved lettering.

Jackie, I like the way you lightened the image. Nice use of color tones in the glass. I wish the top were not cut off but it is still very nice. I like the script. It seems to go nicely with the image. That is some beautiful stained glass work.

the stained glass and the metallic surround are quite stunning Jackie.
The text has a nice look as Denise noted, but I think you might find yourself working that some more.
Just "Merry Christmas" seems a bit lacking......maybe I'm huts!!

This is stunning, both the shot and what you have ended up with. Amazing effect, pat yourself on the back.

"Seems a little harsh in the wording" not at all, I like the font and the curvature. Very well done Jackie and BTW, fantastic stained glass. Clad to see a shot of it.

    Danny.

Maybe a bit austere in the wording, but if I actually have time to print some up I think I would write some meaningful verse on the inside using the same font from CS4. Not too much room on the outer. Thanks for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it.

Jackie, You did a great job on this. Your processing really brings out the beauty of the window and the text is perfect. I like that the photo reinforces the religious origins of the holiday.

Very nice image...stained glass is one of my favourites

Jackie..somewhere near Brampton, people are seeing a Phainopepla, if you get a chance you should try and photograph this bird...extremely rare for up here...

    Nice image and effect, Jackie.

I agree with the text as shown. It makes the point with the stain glass and the inside can expand on your thoughts for the "Season".
