    Excellent exposure control, lovely light and colours. Looks pretty soft to me though - shooting handheld with such a long focal length at 1/1000 is not a very good idea IMO .

    I agree on the hand held, i wasn't set up yet so yea take what you can get.

    Hi Gary, I agree with Ofer - although sharpness looks "passable" for web. I would clean up the debris in the water, and you have a dust bunny immediate left of the neck reflection. I would be darn happy to photograph a beautiful bird such as this during a clean-up party!!

    Agree with the above comments. Love the wonderful warm lighting and the beautiful reflections and eye contact. You did well to catch this one so quickly Gary. Congratulations.
