    These two Pied Kingfishers woke up on the wrong side of bed. The female on the left looks really stressed with the male perching on the end. Always good to see some interaction. Light angle not in my favour in this. Taken in the Pilanesberg nature reserve.

    Good job in getting the two in the frame. The somewhat difficult exposure looks fine, interesting perch, lovely BG and an effective pano composition. Wish for slightly better eye contact.

    Al, I have worked on the eyes, and feel this is the best effort without ruining the image. Since the light wasnt directly on their eyes, I feel there's not much else I can do.

    Excellent timing. Its always nice to see action shots like this. Liked the pano crop as well. Congrats.

    Super interaction Stu! Both tack sharp too. Action makes up for any thoughts on lighting as I'd guess to wanting this any day.
