I shot this image quite a few years ago at Horicon NWR in Wisconsin. It was a slide that I had digitized by a not too experienced store! :( But it has remained one of my favorites. I used a 300mm f/2.8L on my EOS-1, with 1.4x and 2.0x extensions. Considering the distance, it worked well.

As for the crop, I did crop the image to fit the scene, with the doe and the three bucks in the LR and LL 1/3 intersection points, respectively. Removing more of the bottom would eliminate the darker grass area and in my view not look good. But ... Thanks for the comment. There are more than one way to show it. Appreciate yours as well.
