    Default Wait for Me .....

    Camera: Canon EOS 7D
    Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/1000)
    Aperture: f/10.0
    Focal Length: 400 mm
    ISO Speed: 400

saw these guys on the beach and managed a few shots. about a 30% crop.

does the bird in the back being oof take away from the pic? don't know if I could clone it. I wanted to convey movement here; let me know if this works.

Personally I think the shot makes it with the group of three. If anything in a perfect world I would love to see the foremost bird with the same HA and glint in the eye. Great freezing of the action, if anything I might crop some from the top, but all in all a lovely image.

I think more room on the right would help, too. The top can be reduced as well. Cute image. I think the one on the left actually is airborne, i.e., legs off the sand. If you don't mind some "manipulation", you can try some motion blur, too.

Nice picture, I would include a catchlight in the 3rd bird's eye and lighten it a tad and crop off the top, it dominates the picture - well done - love the group image.

Hi Michael - agree with the above comments - some more room on the right hand side for sure - need a little room to run into.
Cool pose on the main bird with both feet off the ground - A lower shooting angle might have yeilded some interesting results.

The trio makes for a strong image and the bg is sweet !!!

In multiples same principles apply and would like more room up front Neat having such similar poses for all !!!

i thought the front two birds looked good as opposed to the rear one. my thought was to evict his butt! just a thought. the running poses are cool and the birds are sharp. love the light and would add room in front. might even crop a sliver off the back.
