    This is a nice example of the bulkiness these nests may grow to become. Looks like the nest is lined with some spanish moss? Good timing with the wings up. Too bad about that huge branch at left, but I guess the nest needs some support somehow!

    I really like how this shot truly depicts how ENORMOUS these nests can get. This shot is more about the nest and environment than the bird.

    There appears to be a halo around the bird's wings and there appears to be a slight yellow cast to this photo. You can see that the bird's head appears a bit yellowish.

    Hope to see more shots from this location as nesting progresses.

    Hi Layton... cool to see the full nest here. I might look at cropping top and left putting the eagle more in the upper lefthand corner. Hope to see more.
