    Default Hot on the trail

This Mapula Wild Dog (1 of 10) was in hot pursuit of Impala this late afternoon
and were eventually successful later that evening, just after sunset.

You captured the determination beautifully, Marc. Like the eye contact.

I like the light in this Marc, and well timed to capture all four feet off the ground. Did you know that each wild dog has its own distinct pattern, and not one is the same ( as in finger prints) I like the comp too, plenty of space to run into.

Great action shot with sharp bright eye contact. Gallop (feet off ground) look makes it especially exciting.

Super picture Marc! A rare moment captured of a rare animal. Such intence action and very sharp. Perhaps try to add a little bit of light to the left eye? Did you see the kill?

We arrived about 2 minutes after they had made the kill, and already they were tucking right in.
