    Default Bald Eagle with Lunch

Photographed at Conowingo yesterday. There was not too much action but this bird made up for it as well as the company of some BPNers. :)

Great wing position and detail on those wings. fish adds to the image and eye contact is great. What are the oof vertical lines on the BG?

Axel very, very nice! Love the wing spread with the details in the feathers and face. That BG is perfect.

Thanks, Arash! There was some land behind the bird, I'm not exactly sure what caused the vertical lines.

At least he's not going to drop this one. Great intensity on the face, and you captured the wings at their best. Overall nice and sharp too. Well captured.

To me, this picture represents speed and the speed with which these creatures fly. Love the light, the wing position, the determined pose and of course the catch. This is a winner all the way around.
