    Default Cape Fox

I captured this mother Cape Fox with her two little ones at there den in the Kgalagadi on a recent trip. Sadly one of the young became the prey of a Martial Eagle the next day.

The Cape Fox is the only true fox and the smallest canid found in South Africa. Also called the Silver Fox.

Lovely interaction captured, Hendri. I still need these guys for my files- think I only ever saw them once, prior to camera days. Thanks for sharing image and story. Capture by the martial would have made a great, if sad image.

Hey Hendri, I like the happy interaction between the pups, and a cool expression from the pup at the bottom. Great image mate.

Lovely interaction. The eye contact with the little one at the bottom is nice. I am tempted to reduce the colour temperature a bit. Look forward to more.
