Hey all, thumbs up for a great new site, got myself registered just this morning and here's my first post. It's an immature Little Ringed Plover from last summer.

    EOS 1D MIII, EF 500 + 1.4, f/5.6, 1/1000s, ISO 400.

    Thanks for taking a look!

Welcome, Toomas! Great first post. Great angle and use of DOF. Maybe you crop a bit off the top. Fill flash might have brought out more details on the chest. I look forward to your posts.

Welcome aboard and wow for this image! Amazing transition to the BG, great colours throughout, and I really like the low angle. Well done. Looking forward to more from you.

Getting low certainly paid off here...lovely softly blurred foreground and beautiful background. A great first post and I'd like to add my welcome to BPN! Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I really like this image. I have never been able to get that close to one. Apart from the ones that breed in London at WWT Wetland Centre.
