    Default Golden-tailed Sapphire (Ecuador)

I usually am much more partial to hummingbird images that also include a nice flower. But this species somehow seems beautiful enough to stand alone :)

Hi Glenn, great to see your awesome work again! Stunning shot indeed!! I feel it can be slightly improved with some tinny adjustments - happy to re-post it with your permission.

Agree, Glenn, this is a beautiful little bird. Nice pose, colors, BG....to be honest I'd love to see it bigger. How many flashes did you use? Love your hummer images.

Hi Glenn, it feels great to interact with photographers in your caliber like in the old days....:)

Here it is - just slight adjustments - levels, S/H, colour saturation, contrast and warming filter. I hope I didn't overdo it...

Glen....you are right. No need of a flower here. Everything is perfect about this one. You even got the toungue out. Fabulous. A calendar shot for sure.

Very nice. Was this shot with just one flash on the camera?

Lovely bird and set up. I guess a version between both images would be fine.
