    A flamingo at the San Diego Wild Animal Park.


    Taken with a 1D mark2 and a 100-400L at 340mm, f/5.6, 1/1000, ISO 100

    Maruthy,

    Like the composition and very nice capture of "S" curve. Tight composition also worked well. May be I would tone down the bright parts a bit to bring down the details.

    I like the pose and eye contact. The light looks a bit harsh and I agree about toning down the highlights and might give it a bit more room. Wider DOF would have helped to have the entire bill in focus. Can you post the techs?
