Default The White Pelicans are back

Hello to all. I was out with friends yesterday and had the opportunity to photograph some white pelicans. There were many of them around Sebastian. This image was taken with the D300 and Nikon 500 f/4, f/8, 1/2500, iso 500 and with the pleasure of The Quick Action Harness. As per normal all C&C welcomed.:D

Hey Nancy, funny you say that, we were at Flamingo this morning and saw hundreds of them in big flocks, it look like they are coming in!!! Winter started early and it looks like it's going to be a good year. Everglades are waking up too :)
Good EXP and nice blue water, sharp and I love the feet!!!

    Hi nancy...

One of my favorite subjects when I'm down around Sebastion on the Indian River (this may make 2 years I don't get their unfortunately unless I sleep under someones porch :)

Exposure and sharpening both look excellent. Love the splashing water and the visible feet.

Looks like that harness is shooting your shooting style rather nicely!

Gorgeous shot, sharp, good action, eye contact, wing position. I like it.

Hi Nancy: This image just pops off the screen. It is razor sharp and very dynamic. I love it! Kind of reminds me of any HDR shot but you didn't have to go to all the trouble.
