    Default Sparrowhawk

The Sparrowhawk came into my garden. The hawk sat down for a second on my stone fence and then he hurried on his way. Unfortunately I did not get the whole tail of the bird in the picture and also somebody said that the picture was to light on his screen and another person said the oposite that the picture was to dark. Well on my screen the picture seems ok. I am wondering what you think. You dont see this bird everyday and when you do its almost alway in the air and not sitting down so I think I was lucky to catch him with my camera at a pretty close range.

looks about right om my monitor, also a nice shot of a young female sparrowhawk, yes its a shame about the tail missing slightly but when its a hurry, a shot is better than no shot. i have a regular male visit my garden for my doves, just miss him everytime he catches one,

Beautiful bird, pose and background. Love the fluffy feathers and it is too bad about the clipped tail. I may crop tighter at bottom so it looks intentional.

lovely image , nice pose and details , IMHO adding canvas in bottom and repairing tail if your ethics permits or cropping tight as Fab suggested should improve

Beautiful capture Patricia, love the eye contact and all the feather detail, it's a shame tail was clipped, as Fabs suggested you can crop tighter to make it look intentional or just "create" the missing parts with wonders of PhotoShop. Brightness looks good, always check histogram for proper exposure and display.

Thank you for liking my picture. Unfortunately I am not very good at altering think in my pictures I have PS 6.0 and use it only for changing of colours if I need to, cropping and sharpening the pictures if there is a need. I have no clue how to add canvas.

    with kind regards

Thank you so much for you nice words about my picture. Wish i knew more about how to use PhotoShop as my pictures surely would be better but my knowledge is limited.

    with kind regards
