Congrats on getting your Duck Harshad. Lovely comp and pose. might be me, but I feel it needs a small ccw rotation. nothing major. Nicely done.

    Harshad:

Great sense of action here, with wings fully up, splash, foot position.
Agree with David about CCW rotation.
The head looks a bit soft.

I don't know this bird well enough to be sure, but the whites under the wing look as if they were toned down a bit and gave that grayish effect you sometimes see in post. I certainly could be mistaken here.

I might crop it a bit tighter, personal preference

    Cheers

    Randy

Always fun to spot new species...and especially satisfying to capture them on "film". I like the wing tips almost touching, and also the water ation. Agree with CCW rotation. Also wish the subject was bigger in the frame.

Psst...isn't this your second thread in less than 24 hrs?;)

Congrats on your first duck Harshad, and well timed for the take off. I agree a CCW rotation is needed.

Congrats on your first duck Harshad. Where did you take the photo? Pintails are among our favorites here in Missouri.

Big congrats on your first duck. Agree on the rotation. I would crop a tad off the bottom and left. Love the way the wings are almost touching at the apex.
