    Here's another from a while back. I cropped from the top a little, but am unsure I like it that way.

    Good looking duck JIm !!!! LIke the head angle and exposure Would lighten the head a bit? I like the reflections but which they were not a s busy Trimming some of the bottom will give a stronger sense of movement !!!!

    Very nice, Jim! I would loose the diagonal reflection shotting out of the tail feathers. Sweet water and reflections!

    Great find, I'd love to see this species sometime. I agree with Fabs regarding the diagonal reflection and S/H. The composition is unusual but I think it works.

    Thanks everyone.

    Working form the posted JPG. I played with a little different crop. I had a hard time with the diagonal reflection and I'm not sure it looks quite right yet. I lightened up the head just a touch as well.

    This was Madrona Marsh in Torrance, CA. Forgot to mention that last night.
