Milt:
Interesting perspective. The shooting angle at 1st seemed too high, but when you start looking at the photo more, and see the quality reflection and the foot, the angle makes sense.
The composition seems just a bit tight all the way around for my taste, but the overall placement in frame is nice as it works the diagonal very well.
There is some noise in the darker areas of the background.
Good eye.
Keep them coming.

Hi Milt - agree with Randy - seems to be some weird stuff going on in the BG - tried some NR it worked a little but made some of the artefacting worse.
Little more room top and bottom for my tastes.
Good show - keep em coming :)
Love it Milt Have seen these birds doing the same at Shark Valley and have no clue what they were up to !!!!
Randy the high angle is a necessity at Wako since we shoot from a boardwalk !!
Agree with suggestions and also consider cropping from the right and leaving a bit more room top/bottom Gives a nice look but do like it as presented !!!!
Hi Milt,
I like the capture on this little guy...he's sitting down chilling out...:D The capture angle is fine due to the conditions of the place...agree with the rest on the techs. Love that eye...keep them coming...
Milt, i like this a lot. One of my favorite birds, which I have never seen in this pose. Perhaps a little more room all around (?)
I prefer the first one, with the tighter crop and slightly darker exposure. Was the light changing, or did you change your EV?
Dave
The reflection of the eye is much stronger and clearer in the first image on my monitor. For that reason alone, I still prefer the first interpretation.
