Captured this Sandhill Crane landing in a marsh at Bosque. My question - does the natural habitat detract from or add to the image?

Hi Kerry I think it complements the image !!! .. would take some from the bottom !!

Love the wing position and sharpness/detail in the head area. Not sure what is going on with the body feathers some wing feathers close to the body have little detail !! Excellent capture and says Bosque in a Big Way !!!

Hi Kerry - Sweet - like the landing pose and the outstretched wings - BG is fine by me - agree with AL about taking some from the bottom.
    Nice one!!

For me the environment add to the image.
Love the landing pose pose with full wing spread. Might try to sharpen the bird a bit more.

Really lovely Kerry with all the earth tones in the BG and soft light. I too would crop to the bottom of your name. Very nice image, congratulations.
