I can see why, great portrait Judy. Only thing I might suggest is that including the white/black collar in full at the bottom. I would be interested to see if anyone thinks more room to the right was needed to accommodate the direction of steer.

    Exposure and processing beautiful.

I like the soft light and head angle and might raise the color temperature a few degrees. The white fur has a slight blue cast on my monitor.

The soft light really brings out the details in the fox. Nice image.

Beautiful detail on this image Judy. The fur looks so real that you want to reach out (into the screen) and touch it. Lighting beautiful and I like the cold, blue winter feel.

Pretty good portrait Judy. Choice of aperture perfect. I'm guessing your focus point was on the whiskers as they are tack sharp. Eyes don't have that but are cool, and the only reason I am going into micro world is that this is so good. anyway, for web, this is major good stuff Judy and take my hat off to you. How on earth could I say to myself that I would not want this. Congratulations judy.

what a stunning portrait Judy! sharp, emotive, stock full of detail...
I also see a blueish cast on the white fur but overall wish it was mine!

Great DOF Judy, and just love the detail and colours. I can see a bluish cast too.

Very nice portrait. I like the combination of warm colors of the fur mixed with the cool blue in the background. Beautiful.

    Judy,

Most excellent portrait. Have not been to Yellowstone in a long time. Hope to meet you at the First Coast Birding & Nature Festival next year.

    Love your photos...
