    Lovely, very similar in looks to our Australian Sitella. Maybe remove one of the two catchlights, probably the RH one?

    Hi Kerry, A pleasing image in my opinion. I like the composition. You captured a good pose and your exposure and sharp look good to me. I think the background is nice and helps display the bird. In my opinion if the bird head was turn toward us a little more the image would have more impact. Thanks for sharing.

    Love the typical nuthatch pose here! I agree with Phil about HA though. Were the shadows lightened in PS? Seems like there should be some darker shadows in the bark's deeper crevices. I'd crop away close to have the thickness of the tree (personal preference of course). Appealing BG that complements the plumage nicely.

    Nice image Kerry. I have a set-up in my backyard right now that I am hopeful will get me an image just like this one. I especially like the bg which sets off the bird nicely.
