    Is this observation based on a preproduction copy or retail? I hope Canon ships it by mid-December.

    Interesting. Canon has been saying 2 stops improvement, with one stop due to sensor improvements and another stop due to image processing. I'd agree with this based on the several samples I've seen. Let's hope it's a home run.

    This is based on a pre-production camera.

    I hope it is as good as describe. My new 1D3 was just stolen (And was love it), so the next one have a great chance to be this new one replace by insurrance.
