    Nice pose and I like the detail in the far wing. Could be my monitor, but I would like to see a bit more "photographic" separation between bg and bird so the bird pops off the page more. Perhaps darkening the water? Not sure. Good capture. Dave

    Interesting pose - I like it. I also like the subtle shadow in the water beneath the egret. I'm sure there is more detail to extract on the near wing - especially the secondary flight feathers. Bird is a bit too centered IMO. Overall an appealing image!
