    Default Eye on the Prize

I photographed this Bald Eagle at Conowingo a few days ago. I posted an image of this bird flying upside-down earlier. Here he started diving. I added canvas at the bottom.

These birds can do some truly amazing things in flight. You've captured a great moment. Very nice image. I might add even a bit more canvas at the bottom. TFS

Beautiful wing position, Axel and it's nice to see the underside for a change. I think if you add more canvas to the bottom I'd give the bird of CCW rotation in the frame as well so he appears to be getting ready to cross over to the other side of the frame.

Now that's one way to get light on the underside of the wings. Awesome head angle and flight pose.

Quite the moment you captured! I love the anterior view of the bird. The detail in the wings is very nice. I also love the view of the feet and tail. The head turn and eyes focused on the prey(I assume) as the eagle starts it's dive provides a story that adds interest in my opinion. Nicely done and congratulations on a fine image.
