Love the sharpness and feather details, the catch light help bring out the eye. This image give me a feeling that the wave on the right will catch the bird off guard any time soon. Might try a bit of CCW rotation.

hi jeff - a bit of a different crop with more space behind the bird than in front - not that there is anything wrong with that.
Good HA and eye contact with a nice catchlight in the eye, the inclusion of the wave is a nice addition although as it is the brightest part of the image does tend to draw my eye away from your subject.

    Good show!!

great sharpness and behavior. I might crop some off the bottom to make the bird larger and not remove the water movement. Can you saturate it any more and still keep it accurate? or darken the ground?

Hi Jeff. I think the different crop works well here because the wave balances the bird. Agree with Cheryl on cropping a bit off the bottom, and might experiment with a bit more contrast or saturation. Very nice details and pose.

Hi Jeff can add you might brighten the bird a bit more since it does look a little dull !!!

Difficult to judge on the sepia effect since there is no comparison but normally like to go with the morning light .. effect is interesting but water looks different !!

Strong image and neat composition, might show more wave and less top and bottom (slight) Big Congrats on this one .... very fine image !!!

    Hi Jeff,
I like your image. Good advise given, I might consider cropping just a tad from the bottom and adjusting the contrast on the bird just a hair more...looking good as always...:) Keep them coming...
