    probably a juvenile perched on some sort of suspended pipe that runs across the bayou

    Bill, I like the effect, details and the pose. I think the smooth BG is lovely. I don't mind the drainage pipe as it has some interest. Nice clear eye.

    I also did a double take on the pipe. Very nice pose and interesting lighting.

    Appreciate the comments! The pipe, which seems to have its coating(paint?) nicely rotting away, revealing the rusty pipe itself, does look alot like a tree branch, maybe a tree with thin bark. Interesting. regards~Bill

    Hi Bill, Love the piercing gaze of the hawk. Very nice BG and details. Also like how the pipe isn't immediately recognizable as pipe. Well done!
