    Default Room for Artie

I was looking through some of my files today and saw this image......converted it just for Artie! He gave me a smile today so I figured I'd return the favor! Lot's of room!!! I have many images with room....that's easy.....just go wider with the Sigmonster....but where would the fun be in that!......shoot tight or go home! Just bustin' Artie! Took all my willpower to stay away from the crop tool!
Canon 1D Mark lll with the Sigma 300-800 @ 336mm for 1/4000 sec at f10 and ISO 1250....light was fading fast!

Glad you left some room. It works great as it is. Nice wing detail. Great comp.

I like the wing/body position on this one. I do however see a light halo around some portions of Mr. Peli.

I see them too Mike.....now on my desktop.....must remember not to multitask when I'm busting Artie's chops!

Nice light, exposure, and wing position. I like the extra room and underwing detail as well. Bird seems a tad soft IMO.

It does feel a little bit soft (especially in the facial area) but I really like the image overall. There's so much depth to those wing feathers and I love the 'incoming' body position!

Roman, I like the pose w/ the feet hanging. I'm not seeing the softness. I do think the dark underbody could be opened up a bit. I like the extra room.Very nice HA.

I like the overall bird shot and wing position, the head seems a tad soft and a bit of light halo.

Hi Roman, I like the angle of approach, with good detail on the Pelican. Maybe a bit too much space on the LHS.
