This proud lady was painted with a Nikon D70s at Crandon Gardens. I used a Nikkor 300mm f/4D with a 1.4 T/C giving me a focal capture of 420mm. Used manual mode, matrix metering with a 1/125sec - f/5.6, 0EV and ISO 200.
    Comments greatly appreciated...:D

A beauty Gus !!!! The lady did pose for you I like how you lined up a great looking bg perfect head angle and sharp I'm not sure about the crop? As presented would not touch it If the bird's body was turned might have gone tighter Either way I like it a lot !!!! Big Congrats !!!

Thank you Al. Do you think she might look better if I crop a little on the right; just a hair to make her stand out?

    Hey Gus!

Was just there myself last week, a great little spot and we try to visit each time we are in the Miami area.

You did a very nice job here. The colors and tone are rich, the background is very nice and your technicals are on the money. I may have tried a couple different angles and I am sure you did.

    Good job!

    Hi Fabs,
I know, I'll try to get a better head angle the next time around. Do you think the colors on the lady could be just a tad more vibrant? Please advise.
