    sorry, i cant resist the pelicans!! love those birds! 100% of the PP done with Nik Color Efex Pro in Ps.

    D300, 300mm, f/6.3, 1/1000s, 0EV, ISO 400, handheld...and it's full frame.

    I like the slanted back pose Doctor...The feather details and the color rendition are very good. Love that eye...:cool:

    nice Mr H - techs look good - Id be tempted to crop in closer, cropping from the bottom and the RHS - But thats just me :)

    Excellent portrait image, like this a lot, and nothing wrong with pelicans either they are neat looking birds.
    Love the sharpness, excellent details and wonderful color. The looking back pose with nice big eye is good too. Congrat on being full frame too! The white in the background on the left draw attention from the bird a bit but no big deal.

    Congrats not only on the full frame image but on the beautiful image too. I love the feather detail on the back. I too would probably crop a bit off the RHS and bottom...but I am probably guilty of cropping or getting images too tight at times....

    Good looking bird Harold !! Agree on the slight crop .. .will bring the eye closer to the intersecting third !!!
