I toned this rose image using a combination of channel mixer, hue/saturation, and curves layers. I also applied an orton effect, a blur overlay masking out the center, and a slight vignette. Any C&C are welcome!

Christopher, Nice soft glow to this and a very nice composition. Tonal values look good.
Nice image and application, Christopher.
Might crop a little on the right to move it off center more. But ...
Your image ... your vision.
Christopher,
I like the soft, glowing, dreamy look you've achieved. The low saturation adds nicely to the effect. To my eye, the visual weight is already sufficiently in the lower right, even though the center of the flower is in the center of the frame. That, together with the diagonal arrangement of the main body of the flower and the nearly triangular petal at the upper left, adds just the right dynamic balance.
I love the tones on this also. I also feel that the balance seems fine as is. Your efforts were well rewarded.
Christopher, I wouldn't change the crop at all. Very nice soft dreamy look to this.
like this one a lot Christopher.....thew shade of pink is unique.
BTW, just read on "eager to learn" that underexposure will bring out more shadow details
and add a third dimension to the image
Christopher, I love the ethereal look to this. It is a very peaceful image.

Thanks everyone for commenting! Much appreciated.
Dave, I habitually underexpose about one/third of a stop because I've found that way I usually get the best exposure and details.
Christopher,
I like the color and implied leading line in this image. Great use of shadow.
Thanks for sharing...
