Indian Robin is one of the most commonly found birds in subcontinent. This bird rarely gets disturbed by human presence.

I made this image last week in a cloudy day in Bangalore.

    Gear : Canon40D, Canon EF 500 f/4+1.4E
EXIF : ISO500, f/6.3, Aperture Priority, Evaluative Metering, -1/3 exposure compensation
PP : removed few twigs in PS.

Thanks for looking. Comments & Suggestions are most welcome

Ditto about the stick crossing the bird.
Love the BG and singing pose. Saliva is a plus.

I gave it try in PS, just an option.

Detail of the head is superb, including that little string of saliva. As well as the stick, I wonder if a little more space below (equal with the space above the head) might help improve an already excellent image.

Very nice details. I like the "from behind" shooting angle. gives an impression that the bird is not aware of you. Exposure is bang on target. I would like more room on top actually :-)

Juan Carlos mi amigo you Photoshop whiz brother! I love your repost. Such wonderful improvement. Beautiful BG and pose, not the best angle on the bird and a little tight! Keep at it bhai and you will get perfection!
