    Default Sassy Cub

Taken last July in Katmai. We had such fun watching the cubs learning to clam with their parents and at times they got a little sassy and even to the point where the mother would give them a swat across the face. Such is the learning curve for the young.

I like how the cub is framed below the parent. Both tongues visible adds so much to the image. Well captured Judy.

Good positioning on the two facing each other and the head angle really help to make this image.

Hi Judy Lynn: Another sweet grizzly shot with a cute/funny look on both mama and baby. And those teeth! The whole series has been wonderful.

P.S. My aunt is named Judy Lynn!

Excellent exposure and sharpness. Only a slight turn of the baby's head could improve this.

    lovely image. Judy...
only suggestion i would make is to to do a selective colour in Ps and increase the red channel a wee bit just to give the cubs tongue a bit more colour...

    Ohh Judy!

Another lovely interaction. You have got some fine images of bear mother and child. The tongue sticking out of the mouth of the kid is nice.

    Hi Judy Lynn,
Another one of your stunning images. So sharp...but not oversharpened. The expressions on both Mom and Cub, are truly, story telling.

Really like the low angle and the eye contact from the mother. Like that tongue as well.
