How about just look outside the window?
How about just look outside the window?

Desmond:
Another place is across the road from my home on Maryland's eastern shore. There, thousands of snow geese descend every winter.
If the geese cease to amaze, I look in the opposite direction through the windows of my home beside a tributary to Fairlee Creek, where from Mid-November to March, tundra (or whistling) swans and occasional trumpeter swans spend their winter.
One image of the swans captured from my property that I converted to grey scale in Photoshop is attached.

What a view, I am envious!
It looks to me that you can have a field day here Desmond...just pick one and zoom in...
both of you guys are killing me!!!! :)
That's in Richmond, BC. Actually, I don't live there. And, Lance, I was outside :D Behind where I stood is a soccer field. Yes, occupied by snow geese, too. Some of the snow geese were on the sidewalk. Cars drove by just a few feet away didn't seem to bother them at all.
Attached is one of the pics I took earlier the same day about a few blocks away.
Norm, thanks for sharing your photo ! Look like you can do birding just sitting at home :)
