    40D, 1-400L @ 400mm, f6.3, 1/250s, ISO 800, handheld, slight crop, cloned out a dark spot, saved at 60% quality.

    Hey Steve, how is that light on the bighorn, and just love the angle of pose. You have captured good detail and the bighorn is really sharp too. I feel to make this pop even more, I would try and blur the BG more, above the line of the grasses. I dont find the BG busy, but my comment is to further enhance it. Cheers.

    What a nice pose and sharp detail captured. The BG not bothering me that much.

    Hi Steve: A Steve Canuel classic returns. I everything about this shot and the background shows the habitat well. Composition is great and the bighorn's pose is picture perfect. Just a great image.

    gorgeous lighting, colours and environment here Steve. I personally don't mind busy environments as it gives context, and here the bighorn is quite well in the clear.

    Nice image Steve. I like the comp and the color of the surrounding vegetation. I like the mixture of light and shadow as well.
