Here is one of numerous images of this snowy who didn't seem to mind my presence. I'm not sure whether the HAP will get me but it looks close to me and I like the exposure and the alert position. C&C encouraged and greatly appreciated.

Great one, Katie. I love the pose, the look, the composition and the detail. I wonder if going with +2/3EC may have blown the whites a bit?

Head angle looks fine Katie Exposure wise in camera looks fine, could tone down just a tiny bit for more detail. Love the pose with one foot and raised head feathers. Which the bird had picked a better perch but I would take the image just as presented !!!

Very nice, love the pose and wind blown feather. HA and exposure look good, if you wish you can bring out more details in the white, they are not lost. I also like how you include the environment at the bottom, I might run NR on the lower left corner of the image.

Katie, you definitely get my vote for a wonderful image and presentation. Tucked in like it is, it presents like a little old person (not about to be sexist and say a little old man!). Do keep 'em coming. Cheers,
