Kirkmann's Camp Sabi Sands. Another unforgetable sighting during my trip to this private game reserve, was us driving into a riverbed, early morning, and coming across a huge pack of wild dogs and their pups. They had killed something during the night, and the parents were bringing bits of animal out of the reeds. We also witnessed them regurgitating food for the pups too. This pup had a fair piece all to itself.

Another wonderful image Stuart with excellent exposure and wonderful detail. The composition and timing is great as well. I have seen many hyenas on my trips to Africa but never a pup. Many thanks for sharing.

Woo Hooo!... Sweet isolation and great story! Perhaps a hair more lightening in the darks under the chin of the dog....but this is very well done!

Great shot Stuart. Man that pup has a big, square nose and those round ears are crazy looking. It sure appears to be enjoying itself. Fun image!!

    A Wild Dog pup, Judy.

Great capture Stuart, they are always a memorable experience. And being in Mala Mala, is an area where you have a good chance to spot them.

That's a lot of dogfood for that big guy, sounds like a great sighting.

Love the colors of these guys. Nicely detailed and I like that he's not staring right at you.
