This is purple thistle in its spring bloom... applied dap, overlayed on the original, changed opacity and opened up the flower. Hope you like it. All C&C will be appreciated...

Indranil, Very beautiful painted effect in the BG and the thistle really is lovely. I think I would do less reveal on the second thistle on the left so it doesn't compete w/ the main thistle. I might also tone down the dark corner just a bit. I like it and would not remove it but it is drawing my eye a bit from the thistle. The lighting is very nice for this and it is a terrific painting-Well done.

    Indranil,

Like the colors and effect. I might do a vignette effect on this one.
    Thanks for sharing...

Love the colors and textures in this, Indranil. Agree with Denise's fine advice, and I would also suggest toning the couple of real bright spots in the BG above the thistle. Well done!

my main comments are that the light is beautiful and the painted bg is sweet.

You are not actually layering over original are you?
You can save from DAP as special/layered .psd

Beautiful colors, and I love the backround tones against the flower color. Excellent advice above.
