Howdy folks. Well about time I got back into it I guess :)
The Carnation stamen macro shot taken into Photoimpact, added a frame, some walling, a flood effect, some drops, a sphere and a few lighting effects.
All the best as always folks.

Beautifully composed. I like the all the different elements and how you have brought it together. Great colors and lights. Excellent work.
Danny, Big Welcome to OOTB! Fantastic first post. What you did to that carnation is terrific and IMHO should be the main focus of this image. I love the framed area and would probably just present that-I find that the other element, while unique and pleasing really take some of the spotlight(no pun intended) from your framed image-which I can't say enough is fantastic - a real show stopper!!!
Agree with Denise. Would like to see more of that carnation and how you made that image. Very nice effect.
Big welcome to OOTB
Lovely colors here , agreed with Denise

Beautiful base image and very uniquely presented. Personally I would remove the sphere and water drops because I think they distract from the photo a bit. Love the colors and lighting.
nice nice....agree that base framed image needs to stand alone without competing elements
yes, great image, but also agree re the other elements. They seem a bit out of place for this one. The frame and wall anchor the carnation to the "now" and the other elements detract. Could be part of another photo in themselves, or maybe somehow put the carnation and the other elements together into a new work without the frame? Great possibilities as you think about it. You have strong visions. Looking forward to more!!!!!!!! Amazing how you did it.
Danny, welcome to OOTB! It's a very creative image.
