What a time we had with the polar bears this year! We were extremely fortunate to see this sub-adult catch, drag and partly eat this seal. Quite a number of additional bears showed up to try and get a share, providing even more photo opps.

Very nice indeed Charles, you obviously had more focal length than Cindy.;)
    Exposure, spot on as always.

She had 500 w/1.4 and Mark III. Of course the buggy is a bit long and where you are can make a difference.

Another image for a future book cover. The blood on the chin is a bonus. Beautiful shot.

Mate, while I agree with all of the comments as far as the presentation of the bear is concerned, I would prefer a crop below all of the top dark "stuff" and above what appear to be open water. As always, you exposures are spot on!

    Hey Chas,
Love the action! I too may prefer it w/o the BG stuff (what is it... remnants?)...but as is it is super! Interaction and story are tops here!

What an experience! Like how the bear is dragging the seal along the ice. Great details in the whites as well.
