I'd love to see a larger size, but couldn't find it on your very nice site. Maybe you could link us.

This is a great shot of a black and white bird with great balance between the highlights and shadows. I'm a noob, but I like the composition. Good eye contact.

Curious to see what others say.

Hi Dave - not on my site yet - always struggle with time to keep it up to date - especially this time of year.
Hopefully after Xmas I can get some updates done to it. :)

Now that I relook at it, I'd be tempted to Clone out that lettering on the wall behind him.

Hi Lance - for what it's worth, I'm with Dave: love the bird and find the bg distracting. I think I spent more time trying to figure out what the word/s were rather than looking at outstanding image. Personal taste, I guess.

    Cheers

the bg does make it unique! might level the letters and lighten the eye a little. other than that, i like it. can you pull anymore detail out of the blacks?

Hey Lance, that is one nice bird image. The bird is tack sharp and the exposure is nice. I don't know what to say about the BG, the bird is so sweet the BG doesn't bother me.

Yes MR H - I can get more detail out of those blacks.

Very nice flight pose, Lance. I like the BG too, the colors go well with the bird. Agree with Harold on pulling some more detail out of the blacks.

Love the wing position, full stretch leg and sharpness. Agree that you should pull out more detail on the black. Wish that the word on the background is an image related word like "fly" "soaring" etc.

Another good one, Lance ! Very good details in the light color feathers. Agree that a tad more details in the black would be nice. The background doesn't bother me a bit at all !
