Another silhouetted image, this time it's a Great Blue caught in the act. C&C encouraged and greatly appreciated.

Katie, Just fantastic! The water looks amazing and the silhouette just perfect! A couple of small BG clean up spots(very minimal)The HK BG ia great also. Maybe a tiny bit of canvas to the front. I love it!!!

Really beautiful, love the high key look mix with the dark dark silhouetted which really help in bring out the bird form. The blue color of the water at the front is a nice touch too. The dark spot in the background distract a bit. Really like what you are doing here.

Hi katie - awesome - really love the contrast between the black and white of the main image and then the splash of colour in the water splash. Couple of quick cleanups in the BG.
    Great work!!

Fantastic shot, Katie. Ditto the comments above - love the high key with the touch of blue in the splash, and the captured action. Nice work!

Hi Katie - Like it even more than the last one. The colored splash works well. Agree about clone any extraneous bg bits and maybe that black bit closest to the bottom.
    Great fun

Thank you all, I spent some time watching this GBH and could see that he was getting ready to strike so I got ready, too! I do appreciate your comments, advice and support.

Awesome! I'll second the addition of canvas to the left and might consider a slight crop from the top. Excellent work!
