    Default western willet

    Hi Guys,

I approach this guys from a small boat, in a very calm lagoon, late in afternoon.
So it stay quiet, as 16 whimbrel around.. Let me know your feeling, and improvments.

Mark III, canon 300 F2,8, conv 1,4. Speed 100, ISO 320, F4.0, handled, but using the fairly stable boat as support.

The pose and low angle are real nice. But, the image is a bit dark and could use a boost in colors.

Neat pose and look-back. I agree that it looks quite underexposed and I would also raise the color temperature. It would be nice to see a repost.

The repost looks definitely better, it could still go some brighter and I would lighten the eye a bit, a little bit fill flash would have helped here.

Repost is a definite improvement. Great head angle and pose, I like the bit of motion blur.

The repost is an improvement. The color temp seems a little off on my monitor. I would have bumped the ISO and gone for a bit more shutter speed.

The repost is indeed a vast improvment still could be lighten up a bit and another raise in color temp.

I like the idea in the first shot., as if the image was taken in first light... but the repost is more "print ready"., well done on all accounts.

    Finally Manuel is back....

Like the repost, great pose and I like the blur as well. With correcting the exposure you introduced some noise; some NR would be good. Welcome back from the field. Nice post.
