Hard to beat those colors when they shine! And it looks like he is in full breeding colors. Even thought the reflection isn't a clear one it's still rather nice. This definitely needs a CCW rotation and you might try to tone down the BG some as it's brightness is a bit overwhelming. Also I do see a halo around the bird. But play with the BG some I would say and you will see a great improvement IMO.

I like the pose and eye contact. Another vote for more room top and right as it is a bit tight in the frame for my taste.

Great pose, reflection, and colors. Would prefer to see the eye a bit brighter, or perhaps a catchlight.
