Unfortunately the Osprey is angled away, but I liked the action. This was shot in the ocean, so no chance of getting out in front of him for a better angle.
Jeez Danny--I think this would have been a world beater if the head angle was better. I have seen quite a few "osprey catches a fish" shots and have to say this one is the best looking fish being caught I have ever seen. But you have the feather action water action just right. Any chance you can get out for more of this type of shot? I know I would if I thought I could get shots like this!
Quite a catch, the splashes, wing position and angle look good. I would tone down the whites and hopefully the osprey will come from the other direction next time.
