Hm, I am not sure, if this image works?
I like the position of the different coloured pigeons. They flew in a big circle around me.
But I don't feel anything in that picture. Do you know the reason, why? What could it make better?

    Happy to get your ideas!
    Thanks!

    Hi Rosl,
I'm very new to this site so take my comments for what they're worth. Compared to the photos on your website, this one leaves me cold. It's just a photo of BOB (bunch of birds). I tried cropping it tighter (got a smaller BOB), I tried adding motion blur (got a blurry BOB). I tried isolating 2 or 3 pigeons (got a pixelated BOB). I think this one has fundamental issues that can't be overcome in PP unless you clone in a big, bad eagle and give the pigeons a reason to be scattering! :D Just my US$0.02 worth.

Rosl You did get good wing position on the entire flock plus no overlapping birds An accomplishment !!!! Do have to agree with Lee It does not have the impact that it should Perhaps birds much larger in frame would have the impact !!!

Yeah, that's what I ask for: true words...
Lee, you choose the right words: it leaves you cold; that's exactly what I feel...
Tja, the bin needs pictures too......

Don't be too hard on yourself, Rosi. As Alfred says you have the birds well spaced.
I like the ones with white diagonals on the wings. Reminds me of stunt airplanes.
It's probably that no one gets excited about pigeons except people who get excited about pigeons.
Now if they were Dunlins or Snow Geese....... :)

I really like the wing spread and spacing of the pigeons. Understanding that I am fairly new to photography as well as this site, to me I don't feel drawn to the image because it is not close enough to see a face/eye, nor is it far enough to see a flock of significant size to be impressive. Perhaps by tilting the angle so the flock is on the diagonal, and flying up would give it more of a sense of "soaring".

I think also there is not enough detail in the image. You can see the birds but no face, no eyes, no feathers, etc. Maybe a bit closer and it would work? Still good for you nothing ventured nothing gained. I am sure you will make it happen!!!
