Hi Gary,
I love the intensity of the stare. Exposure seems fine to me. I see a small dust spot above the bill, otherwise i like it.
Where did you find the Bittern?

What a cool find at the Bosque Gary! I've never seen one there. I like the intense focus of the bird. I'd probably run some additional NR on the BG and I'd move the eye to a position slightly left of center.

Sorry for the late reply but I've been at work for the last 36 hours.
There were actually two hunting along the stream near the flight deck.
Keep an eye out they are hard to spot.
